Tropical Paradise - Beauty From the Earth

This i tried a few different ways before i decided on this one and wore it yesterday. I got these when bftecosmetics.com was having a blogger set sale. They had 4(?) different categories to choose from(bright and bold, metallic and jewel, neutral, and another one.). I picked bright and bold of course. It was $12.00 for 3 full size and 3 samples, you just didnt know what you got. My 3 full size are Wacky, Wave, and Ying Yang.

*First I applied Too Cool on lids and blended out with my finger

*Next i went over Too Cool with NYX Milk

*I applied Ying Yang in the first 1/3 of my lid and blended it into the crease. Then i applied it to my lower lash lineand blendedit up to my outer 1/3 of lid.

*Next I applied Wacky to the mid of my lid, and blended. Packed then on a little more. Then i applied it to the mid of my lower lashline.

*Next I applied  Wave to my crease. I then wet a brush and dipped it into wave and went over it trying to pack on more color(its not the best pigmented shadow.)

*Blended

*Next I applied Extreme Blue to my upper lashline, winging it out.

*Lastly I applied Illegal Length Mascara

Haul - Beauty From the Earth, Ulta, Walmart

Been shopping online and going to ulta the past week. I got one of the color tattoos a couple days after christmas and got some more this week. Beauty From the Earth was having a special for bloggers and I ordered the Bright and Bold Collection. You didnt get to pick the colors just the category. Came with 3 full size and 3 samples(the size of samples you get free with every order - baggy size). Also picked up a new mascara from walgreens.

 

*Essence  Metal Glam Eye Liner in Breezy Beach - Metallic Baby Blue(rang up for a whole penny??)

*NYX Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Blue - A very vibrant florida gator blue. I 100% agree with this statement that is written on it "Dramatic Color Payoff".

*NYX Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Jade - Light Jade Glitter Liner. Its very sheer and applicator doesnt pick up the glitter well. I think im going to return it for the purple studio liner i saw.

*Beauty From the Earth Wave - A Paradise blue but the color payoff isnt the greatest. It looks so pretty in the container but swatches sheerer. Kind of disappointing because its a really pretty blue.

*Beauty From the Earth Wacky - A Brownish orange with little tiny sparkles. Almost reminds me of the indian clay color. Its very vibrant when you first put it on but quickly fades.

*Beauty From the Earth Ying Yang - A very sparkly spring pearish lime green. Its my favorite one of the 3. Very vibrant and pigmented. Color does not fade. My eyes were watering  today but this green stayed with no fading.

Maybelline Illegal Length Fiber Extensions Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black - I used this for the first time today and it was awesome!!! It when on so smooth and no clumping. I could see my eye lashes instantly look longer. Ill have to take a before and after shot.

Water Marble - E.L.F. EOTD

I saw some blues in my palette and wanted to do a look with them. I swatched colors on my arm trying to find colors that went well together. I experimented with a few and didnt like the outcome but 2 blues stood out to me and decided to just use them. I couldnt really think of a name to call this.. A water marble bowling ball just came to mind lol

*First I applied Maybelline Color Tattoo Too Cool to my lid and blended(used for staying power.)

*Then I applied it to my lower lash line.

*To make more matte i applied NYX Milk.

*Next i dabbed my shadow brush in the light blue and white shade and applied it to my lid and lower lashline.

*Next I applied the sparkly dark blue from the glitter eye palette to my crease and 2/3 of the lower lashline starting from the inner corner.

*Next i applied more light blue to lid.

*Next i took the Wet n Wild Coloricon pencil liner and traced the outer edges of where i applied the dark blue.

*Took a q tip and avon eye make up remover and cleaned up the edges.

*Applied white shadow to brow bone.

*Next I applied Cargo Swimmables Blue to my waterline.

*Then Maybelline Master Precise to my upper lashline.

*Lastly i applied the Blinc Mascara.

E.L.F. Beauty Book Glitter Eye Palette

I love bright colors so no surprise I wanted this. I had asked for this for christmas but i didnt get it. My mother in law tried to get me the 144 palette but was sold out at target so she got me the 100 pc instead. Last week I happened to find the palette i wanted laying at the bottom of a stack of another beauty book in the clearance section. I couldnt believe there was 1 left :) It was only $2 (orig $5.00), score!! I scanned it in the price checker to make sure lol

I swatched these over ELF Eye Primer($1.00, bought at target.)

As you can see from my crappy pics lol these are very vibrant. These swatched easily with the exception of 2 (the green and lighter brown in the 2nd set of swatches.) I cant wait to play around with this palette some more. Ive only used this palette once (check out Lemon Lime Meets Grape)

Fiery Sunset - E.L.F. EOTD

Today I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Fierce and Tangy(Orange) for the base and used shadows from my ELF Classic 100 Holiday Palette.

*First I applied Maybelline Color Tattoo Fierce and Tangy to my lids.

*Next I dabbed my elf pro lip defining brush in the 2 shiny goldish/copper orange colors(see make up i used pic) and applied in my inner corner and 1/3 of lid.

*Next I applied the Orange Shade( see same pic) and applied to the center of the lid with Eco Tools Shadow Brush.

*Next I Used the Brick Red Color and applied to my outer corner and rounded up blending it into my crease with Elf Lip Defining Brush.

*Then I dabbed my Elf Contour Brush in the Brown(100 pc) and Red(24k) then applying it to my crease and 3/4 of my lower lashline.

*Next I Dabbed Urban Decay Whiskey on upper lashline.

*Applied Avon Glimmerstick Diamond in Sugar Plum over it.

*It wasnt dark enough for me and so i went over it with the Physicians Formula Gel Liner.

*Next I applied Blinc Mascara and then Telescopic Mascara.

Then I applied Maybelline Master Precise

I just was playing around with my make up since i had the day off and its still looking vibrant after 8 hours.

Lemon Lime Meets Grape - ELF EOTD

I decided to play with one of maybelline 24 hr color tattoo eye shadows yesterday.  I will be making a review post for them but im trying each of the ones i have first. I used the white one labelled "Too Cool". White can be used as a base to make colors pop. I also recently got the elf glitter holiday palette. It was on clearance for $2.

*E.L.F. Studio 2 in one Conditioning Gloss - Va Va Voom($1.49 at big lots)

 

*First I applied Too Cool on my lids as a base. (i didnt use a primer because it makes these creme shadows clump.)

*Next I applied the Lime Green Shade of the Glitter Eye Palette to the inner half of the lid.

*Next I applied the Jungle Green Shade(the one right next to the lime green) to the other half.

*Next I applied the Light EggPlant Purple Shade to my crease.

*Next I went over the eggplant with the Periwinkle Purple shade in my crease and then curving around in my outer v.

*Next I applied the Caribbean Blue shade to my lower lashline.

*I then applied the Tarte EmphasEYES to my upper lashes.

*I then went over it with the Maybelline Master Drama.

*Lastly I applied Blinc Mascara to my lashes.

 

Put on at 930am and didnt get home til 8pm from work and still vibrant with minor fading and no creasing. I meant to take a pic when i got home yesterday.
