Princess Lolly Inspired Eye Look

I decided to enter my first makeup contest. The theme is candy. I originally tried doing a gumdrop look but didnt turn out very good. When I was looking for pictures of gum drops I had came across this picture of Princess Lolly. So I decided to test out some artistic skills, to see if I could draw her on my eye. This was extremely hard to do. My eyeliner pen wasn't wanting to work to draw. I went through a lot of q tips and wasnt til i took pics I saw i had left remnants of trying to clean the look up. Oh well, I at least tried. This isnt something I normally do, and I think it came out ok for being my first time, and I only did this look once. I had to alter the dress some once i started taking pics because it looked funky.



So I had to fix it and I dont know what I was thinking about some of the glitter.

Once Upon a Time - Regina Inspired

So I was updating my makeup looks album on my fb page and came across this look I did a couple months ago. I realized I never did a post for it. I must have not liked it very much. lol I think my eye kept watering as usual and I think I might have not liked how high up my crease make up went. Anyways.. I decided I would post it anyways. :) Now if I can remember everything I used.

*Lined eyes with Black Eyeliner Pen
*2 coats of Mascara



*Applied Lip Balm to Lips.
*Applied Shinigami First
*Then Heart Attack. 
*Blended with my finger and pressing lips together.

Shiro Cosmetics Oogie Got JACKed Eye Look

I just realized I hadnt posted my eye look I showed in my recent Shiro Cosmetics Haul Post. I did this look using all of the shadows from the 2012 Halloween Collection from Shiro Cosmetics. 

This was just a quick look I came up with to show how the halloween collection applies on the eyes. I like how it came out. I think I might wear this on Halloween when I goto the fair. :)

The collection is based on the Nightmare Before Christmas, hence the name of this look. I havent seen this movie in awhile. I should rewatch it. Im hoping to find a good deal on the 3D blu ray. It seems like a good one to watch in 3D. Anyone else getting excited for Halloween??

*Lined eyes with Elf Studio Black Cream Liner.

*Filled in brows with Rebellion

*2 coats of Mascara

*Applied Jack Black Lip Gloss to Lips.

*Patted on Shinigami

*Pressed lips together to mix gloss with pigment.

I paired this look with my new skull earrings.

I got these from Big Lots. It came with 5 other pairs of earrings for $4.

Shiro Cosmetics October Haul - Swatches (Pic Heavy!!)

So Shiro Cosmetics released their Halloween collection, so I of course had to make an order. I havent had many hours lately so instead of going the mini jar route again I got the sample $1 bags. I got a total of 14 colors this time. If you order the jars they come with cute Nightmare Before Christmas stickers.

Aren't they cute?? Every full size jar of any of their shadows come with stickers. I believe you might be able to buy ones for the mini jars but I think some come with them as well. 

Every package comes with candy.

These were yum! lol I gave the other one to my hubby.

I was having trouble capturing the color right in the swatches so I took pics of the product in the bags as well.

Finkelstein (Halloween '12) - Ultra-pale ghoulish green-yellow-grey with blue shimmer.

 

Oogie Boogie (Halloween '12) - Swampy green-beige with a muted velvety finish; the intensity of the green tones depends on the light.

 

Master Sword (Legends) - Super-glittery pale taupe - a blend of silver and gold, with bright silver sparks.

 

These 3 were hard to capture their actual colors. I did finger swatches to get the outside light ones.

Alkahestry (Full Metal) - Sheer-ish pale violet with a brilliant blue-sparkle base.

Reverse Psychology (Science) - Medium purple with bold green shimmer and lime glitter.

Shinigami (Notebook) - Dark royal purple with silver sparks.

For Generations (Full Metal) - The most obnoxious possible shade of piggy-pink, decorated with gold and blue sparkles.

Heart Attack (Notebook) - Deep maroon with blue duochrome.

Hero of Ages (Legends) - Dark, blue-toned forest green with light shimmer.

Zora Sapphire (Legends) - Dark teal with a very strong green duochrome.

Rebellion (Tributes) - Charcoal black with deep blue shimmer and sparkles.

Pumpkin King (Halloween '12) - Very blackened copper packed with orange sparkles.
