Maybelline Color Show Street Art - Wild at Heart

I was just perusing the makeup aisle at Wally World yesterday and happened to see the Street Art collection from Maybelline. They were out of the pink one but i liked the look of the red one "Wild At Heart".

Its a clear base with red bar glitter, black and red hexagon glitter, and tiny black speckled glitter.

I found when applying it that it can be a litte chunky. It works better as a glitter top coat then wearing it alone. The look reminded me of marble countertops or tiles. I really like the look of it though.

I decided to try it over some colors. I decided to do a quick Easter Egg Look.

I like it over Zoya Blu and Haute Nails Pink Panther(this didn't come with a name on the bottle) the most.

I used the Color Club Top coat and it dried really fast.

Heres a more close up picture.

Thoughts on Polish: I actually really liked this polish. You only need one coat when you use it as a glitter top coat. I found it hard to layer using it alone. It would come out really chunky and I didn't like it at all.

Avengers - Hulk Manicure

When I was swatching my Kleancolor mini polishes a couple days ago i saw that their was some good colors for Avengers Manicures. I dont know if i will do more but i did a Hulk one. The lighting in my apt is awful so sorry about the quality of pics. The signature on the DVD below is Stan Lee. We got his autograph a couple years ago at the annual Phoenix Comicon.

Items Used:

*Metallic Green, Fuschia, and Black

*Migi Nails Green, Black, and White

*Seche Vite Base and Top Coat (When i removed the swatches i found some staining with a couple of the colors.)

*Some green nail glitter i got in a set from the dollar tree

*Nail brush i got from my Crown Brush Haul

I should have done some clean up after i was finished, sorry.

*I started by applying Seche Vite Base Coat.

*Applied one coat of Kleancolor Metallic Green.

*Went over with Seche Vite Top Coat (im impatient)

*Next I took the black Migi Nail Pen and drew an outline of Hulk Hair at the top of each nail.

*Filled in the tops with Metallic Fuschia on every finger but the thumb.

*Filled the top of thumb with Metallic Black.

*Seche Vite Top Coat

*Next i took my nail brush and dipped it into my Migi Nail Black and drew on hulk face.

*Used Migi Nails Black and White for Teeth.

*Using Migi Nails Green I spelled out the Hulk on my other Fingers.

*Took a brush and applied Green Glitter over letters.

*Traced the Letters back over with Migi Nails Green. (I messed up the letter H when i did this :/)

*Let dry for a minute or 2.

*Applied Seche Vite Top Coat

Crackled Candy Corn

So... I've seemed to be changing my polish either everyday or every other day... I actually did one mani to immediately take it off to do this one because i was inspired when i saw this new farmville halloween tree.

So i looked through my polishes and found the colors i needed..

Opi Shatter

Zoya Phoebe

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Sun Kissed

Konad Special Polish in White

Color Club Top Coat

I need to redo my pinky because the second i put the top coat on i moved my hand and it it on something.. I wish they would have all shattered like on my thumb. My Black Shatter is starting to dry out though... :/

*I first applied Phoebe to a 3rd of each nail.

*Waited a minute or 2 and applied Sun Kissed the middle third of my nail.

*Waited a minute or 2 and applied the Konad White.

*I applied Black Shatter Shortly After.

*The last step you need to wait for it to dry a bit so the top coat doesnt smear the black.
