Wet n Wild Megalast Polishes

Flash

Undercover, Through the Grapevine, On a Trip

I finally came across the Wet n Wild Mega Last Nail Polishes at my local Walgreens. I picked up 3 polishes since they were having a buy 2 get 1 free. It came out to be $4.35 after tax for all 3. Each polish is $1.99. I plan on going back to get a few more. On this display it says the sale is on til 02/25.

Undercover is a rose mauve cream. It reminds me of a lipstick color my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Duffy used to wear. This is a more mature and earthy color for my taste. Its a good color for someone looking for a color they can wear to work.

On a Trip is a Periwinkle Lavender Cream Polish. Its my favorite of the 3 i bought. I remember coloring with the crayola crayon of the same color a lot. Its funny when i think of how to describe colors i always think of crayola crayons.

Through the Grapevine is a Grapeish Fuschia Cream. I really like this color. It makes you want some grape juice lol :)

Excuse my hands.. They've been really dry lately and no matter what i put on them the moisture wont lock in :( I really did like the formula on these. They are very Opaque and could take 1 coat but i did 2 for the pictures. It has a nice wide brush to get a more even coat and cover more area at once. The brushes remind me of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Polishes Brush.

Cosmetic Arts Nail Polish

So once in awhile we get a display of these nail polishes at work, and each polish is only $1.99. They come in a assortment of colors. Me and the other girls at my work always go crazy when these come in. We all seem to like bright colors, and they give us quite a few colors to choose from. The sad part about when we get these polishes are that 9 out of 10 times, polishes arrive to us broken. We had a whole display broken and dried on a box, with only a handful of polishes that were saleable. I happened to pick up 2 of them today. After i was applying them, they made me think of toy story and i also realized i had a buzzlight year purple around here somewheres. Maybe i can try to be creative and come up with a toy story buzz lightyear nail design :)

I have tried googling about this line before, and not much comes up. I saw that these polishes come from Fred Meyer's?? I've never been to one of these stores though. Also when we get np at ross, none of the colors come labelled on them, so im not for sure what the colors are called.

Cosmetic Arts Green

Its a lime green, but when it dries its darker then the color in the bottle. The color to me looks like the Toy Story Army Men Gummies lol I really like it though. I wish i had more info about these polishes and their names. These set and dry within a couple minutes. I always put a topcoat on though to dry them a little quicker becomes im a fidgeter.

Cosmetic Arts Blue

This blue is act5ually a little darker then in this pic as well. It goes on tabout that color but dries to a darker azure blue color.

Cosmetic Arts Blue - No Flash

Its about this color when dried. I took this pic with no flash.

I have more of these polishes and can swatch some more at a later time. I just wanted to share the 2 pretty colors i found today that i had to have. :)

Zoya Gilda

One word for the color of this polish.. AMAZING!! lol Its a nice fuschia pink with glitter. I didnt want to take the color off, but i needed to swatch the other 2. I wish i had saved it for last :D

1 stroke of the brush on my nail and i was in love lol I like the brush of this polish and makes the application so easy and not messy at all.

Heres 1 Coat:

A lot of color for one coat. If you want the color a little sheerer 1 coat will do but i prefer for it to be brighter and look like the bottle lol

Applied 3 Coats Here:

Heres a few more pics:

One coat dries pretty good, i dont know how long it would take for the 3 coats since i wiped it off after applying and taking pictures. It was still tacky when i was wiping it off. I tried applying seche vite to one nail, and it wasn't drying it.... I've heard though that since SV isn't Big 3 free, it doesn't work. Reviews said though that Sally Hansen Insta Dry Top Coat works pretty well with Zoya Polishes.

Zoya - It's Here!!!

Zoya was having a promotion. Get 3 free polishes and only pay for shipping. I guess though people had all kinds of problems. When I went to order I never got a e-mail confirmation.  So I tried ordering another 3 polishes, thinking that was what the problem was. Turned out they were just behind on sending them out. Though the 2nd order i got one right away.  My package today was the 2nd order. I was really hoping for the first 1 but this will do. I never tried their polishes before, so when i saw the promo I jumped right on it since i've only heard good things about the polishes.

I got Gilda, Pippa, and Robyn. Zoya np is vegan, so it is free of the Big 3.

Wet and Wild Fast Dry Polish in Orange

I was a Kmart to see what E.L.F products they had when i came across

a Wet and Wild Display of new products and happened to see a polish someone

mentioned on another blog called Gray's Anatomy(she says its a dupe for DL Wicked Game).

I then looked next to it something shiny and vibrant. I don't care much for orange but i liked this.

It reminds me of the crayola crayon Vivid Tangerine. There was only one left so i bought it along

with the other one. :D

It's a very sparkly shade. It has a little yellow duochrome in it. I think

it reminds me of Gator Orange and that's why i like it. I was wearing a blue jacket

when i picked it up.

My Burt's Bee lotion made the light reflect :/

I went over it with Seche Vite Top Coat.

Review:

I really like this color. I did 3 coats to get the vibrancy i wanted but

1 coat is sufficient to give you that nice bright orange with some sparkle.

It took about 5 or so minutes for my 3 coats to dry. They were officially dry

within seconds of applying my Top Coat. The color is so vibrant, you can

see the sparkles without the top coat. It applied nicely and think the polish

is a smokin' deal for 99 cents.

Color Club Electro Candy

On TPF in the "What Nail Polish Are You Wearing?" thread, the girls recommend this nail polish. I was disappointed when i went to their website to see where i could buy some, and it said that no stores in my area carried it. Well it was mistaken lol I work at Ross, and while unboxing some boxes in the stock room last week, i stumbled upon 5 different sets. I ended up buying 2 of the 5. Each set cost $7.99. It happened to be our double employee discount week, so i got 40% off of each. *woot woot*

The Colors Include:

Volt of Light(yellow), What a Shock(green), Electro Candy(pink), Tangerine Scream(orange),

Ultra Violet(purple, and Pure Energy(blue).

These 2 pictures.. well i should have cleaned up my fingers/hands first lol :p

I wasn't used to the consistency of these. They are formaldehyde/toulene/dbp free.

They glide on easy and for a subtle bright color you should use 1 coat, 2 coats are effiecent. I used 3

in the pictures t make them as vibrant as i could. The polishes dry very fast if you space the time out for each coat.

They can last 3 or 4 days without chipping. I work in the cash office at work and been doing the stock room so the top edges have chipped off from that...
