Avengers: Age of Ultron - Hulk

This look in't really based on the character from the movie but it's the eye makeup I wore to see the movie opening weekend. It's more inspired by the colors from the comic book rather then the character in the movie. I did a hulk look years ago when i first started wearing makeup before i knew about blending and all that. :p The cartoon/comic hulk has brighter colors compared to the movie hulk, which i prefer. Also using the brighter colors gave me an excuse to use my Urban Decay Electric Palette.

Items Used:
*Urban Decay Electric Palette
*NYX HD Base White
*BH Cosmetics 120 Palette 2nd edition
*Star Crushed Cosmetics Electric Lime
*Inglot #318
*Elf Studio Cream Liner in Black
*UD 24/7 Liner Black Velvet
*Mayebelline Lash Sensational Mascara

*Apply an Ey Primer. (UDPP)
*Apply a light pink transition shade to the crease. (Too Faced Kiss the Bride)
*Blended in a fuschia/hot pink shade into the crease. (I mixed UD Savage and Jilted)
*Then using a pencil brush I applied a purple shade to the crease. (UD Urban)
*Then i applied a purple shade from my 120 palette.
*Blend
*Then I applied a white base to my lid. (NYX HD Base White)
*I patted a lighter lime green shade to the inner 1/2 of my lid. (Mixed UD Thrash and Star Crushed Electric lime)
*Then pat on a darker bright lime green shade. (I mixed UD Freak and a few green shadows from the 120 palette)
*I then applied the lighter lime green shade to the lower lashline.  (UD Thrash)
*Then I blended in the purple shade. (UD Urban)
*I applied some white base to the inner corner. (NYX HD Base White)
*Then applied a matte white shade over. (Inglot #318)
*Lined eyes with a black cream/gel liner. (Elf Studio Black Cream Liner)
*Applied a black liner to waterline. (UD Black Velvet)
*Then applied 2 coats of Mascara (Maybelline Lash Sensational)
*Applied a flesh color to my brow bone. (Too Faced Bouquet Toss)
*** I had recreated the look i wore for my blog and i prefered the original because instead of using just the lighter green shade i used for the lower lashline, I also applied the darker lime green shade.

When i took a couple pictures outside, is when i noticed the big difference of my lower lashline compared to when i first originally wore it. I love how the purple looks though. :)

My skin has been really dry lately, and hate how it looks in natural lighting. :/

Heres a few more full face pictures.

Hope you enjoyed this look. :) I hope you had a chance to check out the new Avengers movie. I really liked it but I can't decide which one i liked more.

Morphe Brushes Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette

So I've been following Morphe Brushes on Instagram for over a year now but i've never made a purchase from them. I think I started following them because they were sponsoring a contest at some point in time and to earn an extra entry you followed their instagram page. I remember some posts at the end of december about a palette that was coming out that was hand picked by a girl named Jacyln Hill. I had no idea to be honest who she was. I was like who is this person and what's the big hoopla over this palette. lol I remember just reading comments about people being mad because they couldn't get on the site and then when they did it was sold out. I guess someone was hacking their site at the time of the launch. Well during the next week I was looking up swatches for makeup geek shadows because I was wanting to buy some and that is how i found Jaclyn hill's blog/yt channel. It was watching her videos the first week of January that i found out what her palette was all about. I had actually been wanting some warmer colors since all my shadows are more brighter shades and this seemed like a good one for me to get for those brown/cranberry shades i was looking for. Alas though when i went to purchase it from their site they hadn't restocked it yet but then my hubby reminded me that he was working a beauty show at the end of january in Long Beach. I immediately checked the website for the show and found that morphe brushes was going to be there and only a few booths over. Score!! So I had him pick it up for me while he was there. :)
I forgot to take pictures of the box when i first got it so now there is icky water spots/fingerprints on it...

These shadows are sooo amazingly pigmented. I can't believe individually these only cost $2.00 each, because that is such a good deal. The palette retails for $27.99 which makes them a $1.00 a piece.

I think the last row is my favorite. :)

Favorites: I love all of them, especially the purples and the pink shade.

I labeled each shadow with the corresponding individual shadow number.

Thoughts: I love this palette. For the most part the shadows are super pigmented and the ones that aren't can be built up. h colors I have used so far blend easily without much trouble wich is also a plus. I work in the stock room and coming home after 8 to 9 hours working my shadows look pretty good with minor fading in the crease area. I highly recommend this palette if you were looking for some warm shades and some pops of color as well. I can see myself using this palette for everyday looks. I'm also interested in trying out some of their brushes. Anybody have any recommendations??

Editing Notes: All the swatches were dry swatches. I didn't use any primer or anything like that. I just swatched each shadow with my fingers.

Star Crushed Minerals Haul Swatches (Picture Heavy)

I've been seeing their products a lot lately throughout the beauty community. So around valentine's day they were having a 50% off sale and decided to make an order. I was hoping that I would find the neon shades that swatches had been popping up all over Facebook, but they weren't released yet(as of now they still aren't released and no idea if they will ever... I hope they do..). So i picked out 10 shade samples and a primer sample. Most indy companies send out their samples in the little baggies, but they send theirs all out in jars (BFTE doe the same). I prefer the jars out of the baggies. I find them easier to find the color im looking for verses the baggies. With the baggies, i seem to look at all of them before i find the color i am looking for.  So that's a total plus in my book.

There was a bunch of confetti stars inside the bags and envelope.

The eye shadow samples I bought were $1.00 to $2.00 each and according to sticker on the jar they are .5 grams.

I thought these were very pigmented and since I was given a coupon for 65% off, I think i'm going to purchase some more. I've yet to play with these just yet though. I have some ideas for them though. I've only had them about a week so far. :) I noticed some of these can stain like Black Sapphire and Neptune Star. I also think Orchid could be a little more pigmented. I think it might be because its a matte esque shade and thats why it was harder to swatch then the others. You can make a purchase at their etsy shop Star Crushed Minerals. They are still having their spring sale, so check them out. :)
