Golden Summer EOTD

Its been warming up here (the 90s). Which means summer is right around the corner. It was even in the 90s when I was in Vegas last weekend. Lately i've been sporting some gold looks. I decided to try out a couple of my new Inglot colors I got while in Vegas.
Since I burn instead of tanning, I can at least warm up my eyes with shadow and my face with blush/bronzer.

Shiro Cosmetics Oogie Got JACKed Eye Look

I just realized I hadnt posted my eye look I showed in my recent Shiro Cosmetics Haul Post. I did this look using all of the shadows from the 2012 Halloween Collection from Shiro Cosmetics. 

This was just a quick look I came up with to show how the halloween collection applies on the eyes. I like how it came out. I think I might wear this on Halloween when I goto the fair. :)

The collection is based on the Nightmare Before Christmas, hence the name of this look. I havent seen this movie in awhile. I should rewatch it. Im hoping to find a good deal on the 3D blu ray. It seems like a good one to watch in 3D. Anyone else getting excited for Halloween??

*Applied LA Splash Shadow Sealer over Ragdoll.

*Applied BFTE No Hush Copper glitter to lid.

*Lined eyes with Elf Studio Black Cream Liner.

*Filled in brows with Rebellion

*2 coats of Mascara

*Applied Jack Black Lip Gloss to Lips.

*Patted on Shinigami

*Pressed lips together to mix gloss with pigment.

I paired this look with my new skull earrings.

I got these from Big Lots. It came with 5 other pairs of earrings for $4.

Autumn Pear Eye Look

Last eye of the day was from thursday. I didnt do any makeup on Friday because I didnt have time to. I woke up 13 minutes before I had to leave. I didnt go anywhere yesterday.   I didnt even play around with any makeup. 

My look reminded me of pears. I originally tried doing this look on wed instead of my teal gold look but i didnt like how it turned out and did something else. Thats when I came up with my teal gold look.

*White base to lid smoothing it up into crease. (NYX Jumbo Pencil Milk)

*Applied red shade to outer 1/3 of lid. (BH Cosmetics)

*Applied green shade to 2/3 of inner lid. (BH Cosmetics)

*Blended.

*Applied Gold shade to middle of lid. (BH Cosmetics)

*Applied Purple shade to crease. (BH Cosmetics)

*Applied Black liner to lashline. (Elf Studio Cream Liner)

*2 Coats of Mascara (Tarte Lights Camera Lashes)

Chai Carmel Latte EOTD

For today's look I decided to use my BFTE Coffee Collection shadows I recently got. One of these days I'll be able to capture these looks good with my camera. This is one of those times where the colors looked better in person then in the picture.

*BFTE Salted Carmel

*BFTE Chai

*BFTE Espresso

*Elf Studio Cream Liner

*Tarte Lights Camera Lashes!

*Eye Primer

*Then applied Caffe Latte to Lid.

*Then went over with Salted Carmel.

*Patted on Chai to the outer lid and then rounded up into the crease.

*Applied Espresso to crease ans curving down to the lower lashline.

*applied Elf Studio Cream Liner to lashline.

*2 Coats of Mascara

The Phoenix/Hunger Games Eye Tutorial - BH Cosmetics

 

I decided to make a video for my eotd yesterday. My hubby told me it looked like the phoenix, and said i should say it's my phoenix look.

I believe this is the character that Jean Grey from the Xmen becomes. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Witch's Brew Inspired Eye Look

So I just decided to play around with some colors today for Labor Day. I originally had the day off but then was asked to come it. How can you say no to time and a half. The colors I used just made me think of witches (purple) and their brew (being green or sometimes turquoish). Halloween is coming up soon (where did the time go??), and this is an easy look to do for the season. I actually got compliments from customers all day long on this eye look. A little girl even asked her mom how I did this. lol
