MAC Limited Edition Marilyn Monroe Collection - Fall 2012

Marilyn Monroe is one of my favorite beauy icons of all time. My other favorite of course is audrey hepburn. :) I was just on tpf and saw about this new collection. Of course I got excited since its a marilyn collection. I  need to start saving some monies. I saw its coming out sometime in October, so start saving those pennies.

The packaging is so cute. See anything you look forward to getting?? I want a blush, lipstick, lipgloss, beauty powder, and maybe an eye shadow. :D

 

Wet n Wild Dream Weavers

I've still yet to find these. I've not seen them anywhere and they were supposed to come out in july. I wish they would allow websites online to at least sell them. This is ridiculous. I couldnt een find the on the prowl collection anywhere but 1 and they only had a few polishes left. I did happen to get Behind Closed Doors though. A lovely lady from a forum i am apart of happened to send me all but 1 of the on the prowl collection. thanks tpf angel!!! I will be have a post of swatches here soon.

The most popular one seems to be Dancing in the Clouds.  They say they are dupes of some Urban Decay Shadows which I already own (Mauie Wowie, Copper, and Flash). They compared them HERE.

 

The ones I really want are Bright Idea, The Earth Looks Small From Down Here, We're Blasting Off, and Enter the Realm(i want the red shadow mainly).

 

Nouveau Cheap Has a Map where they have been spotted. Only one person had found them in my area that is a member of her blog. :/

Maybelline EyeStudio Baked Eye Shadow - Ivy Illusion

I was at Fry's Marketplace and saw some make up on clearance. I happened to find this for $3, and i bought it since i had been wanting to try one of these shadows for awhile just didnt want to pay the $7. I find the shadow to be very pigmented and goes on smoothly.

*I applied UDPP

*Then NYX Milk Pencil on lid.

*Then i patted on the gold shade in the lid.

*Then i put the green shade in half the crease and rounded it out.

*Took my ELF Eye Precision Brush and applied green shadow to the lower lashline.

*Then i applied ELF WP Eye Liner Pen in Black to my upper lashline.

*Went over it with UD Zero Liner.

*Applied Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara.

I found this shadow wore very well. It looked the same as when i applied it when i took it off later that night at around 11:30 pm.
